Statement of Editorial Purpose: SNjourney.com and "The SNJourney Newsletter" are premier interactive publications for nursing students on the World Wide Web. Through online publications of nurse-reviewed, submissions, we provide students with a variety of information. The submissions will help students in school, clinical rotations, and through their transition from student nurses to professional nurses.

Type of Submissions: SNJourney.com and "The SNJourney Newsletter" is a peer-reviewed, exclusively electronic entity aimed at student nurses. Our focus is on patient safety, sharing clinical knowledge, current issues and ideas. Camaraderie between nurses and promoting the nursing profession should also be emphasized.

Submission topics include: Summation of a body system, summation of interactions between two body systems, system assessment, lab value information, medication information, practice exam questions, results of nursing research, an original article or essay, care plans, textbook chapter notes, tips, advise, a call to action or any other information pertaining to nursing students, their education and their future careers.

Length: Flexible, ranging from a one sentence tip, advice, or addendum to an existing area, to a multi-page article. Please include references when appropriate.

Electronic Submission: Please send all submissions to submissions@snjourney.com. We support Microsoft Word, Plain Text (ASCII) or Rich Text Format (RTF), (PDF).

Non text Material: Get creative. Authors are strongly encouraged to submit photos, illustrations, illustrative sketches, tables, video, sound clips, or any other non text material that will enhance the content and will help in understanding the material and procedures.

*Be sure to include the creator(s) full name and suffix (SN, GN, LPN etc.) You may choose to include your location, school or organization, year of graduation etc. By submitting works you agree that it is the original work of those listed.
